Believed to have lived from 1855-1929, he was a major water-colour artist of his time recording the daily working life of rural folk. Exhibited widely at major Galleries such as the Royal Academy (21 times),Royal Society of British Artists, etc etc. Late in his life, he moved to West Sussex and this influence shows in his later works in particular.

The Farm Pond Picture size 35cm x 52cm, we have sympathetically re-framed it using modern conservation materials. All in good order.
