Born in 1938 near Brighton. On leaving school worked at the R.A.F. Establishment at Farnborough for 6 years, also doing his National Service in the R.A.F. In 1964 took up painting as a hobby and successfully exhibited in London in 1966. In 1968 took a great leap and became a full time artist. Greatly successful with his exhibitions in the U.S.A., but best known for his sympathetic Sussex Landscapes.
